Home > News and politics > RESPECT FOR ONE’S VOTING CHOICES

The quick insight I’m quoting is from my friend, Francis, and it goes out to all the ARROGANT people out there this election season: "Just because someone votes for another candidate doesn’t mean that person’s stupid or dumb. He just disagrees with you."
I just feel compelled to rant out now:
Frankly, I’m only just realizing how silently but incredibly PISSED-OFF I am at the many e-mails, text messages, wall posts I see in social networking sites (especially in this venue), etc. that are trying to convince people that his/her candidate is better compared to a particular candidate because of so-and-so reasons… (Well, I’m not silent anymore, am I?)
At this point in time most of us have already made our choices, and that’s that — let’s just respect each other’s choices and put an end to all the mudslinging and political proselytizing.  Let’s just go to the polls on May 10, 2010, and may the best candidate win!
Assuming, of course, that there won’t be a failure of elections on May 10… If the elections fail horribly, then prepare for ANARCHY, which is the last thing we need.
God help us all on Monday.
