Falling For You

Falling For You
Colbie Caillat

I don’t know but
I think I maybe
Fallin’ for you
Dropping so quickly
Maybe I should
Keep this to myself
Waiting ’til I
Know you better

I am trying
Not to tell you
But I want to
I’m scared of what you’ll say
So I’m hiding what I’m feeling
But I’m tired of
Holding this inside my head

I’ve been spending all my time
Just thinking about ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’ve been waiting all my life
And now I found ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’m fallin’ for you

As I’m standing here
And you hold my hand
Pull me towards you
And we start to dance
All around us
I see nobody
Here in silence
It’s just you and me

I’m trying
Not to tell you
But I want to
I’m scared of what you’ll say
So I’m hiding what I’m feeling
But I’m tired of
Holding this inside my head

I’ve been spending all my time
Just thinking about ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’ve been waiting all my life
And now I found ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’m fallin’ for you

Oh I just can’t take it
My heart is racing
The emotions keep spinning out

I’ve been spending all my time
Just thinking about ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’ve been waiting all my life
And now I found ya
I don’t know what to do
I think I’m fallin’ for you
I’m fallin’ for you

I can’t stop thinking about it
I want you all around me
And now I just can’t hide it
I think I’m fallin’ for you (x2)

I’m fallin’ for you

Ooohhh
Oh no no
Oooooohhh
Oh I’m fallin’ for you

Celebrating God’s Mercy

July 3, 2010 Leave a comment

I praise the Lord, oh my soul!  There is no sin, no matter how great, that cannot be forgiven.  The only time a sin cannot be forgiven is when a person’s heart is so hard such that he obstinately refuses God’s mercy and love to the bitter end, and this is known as the sin against the Holy Spirit.

Come now, let us set things right, says the LORD: Though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; Though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

From the time of Jesus’ youth, He has been calling us back to the love and mercy of His Father.  His life and ultimately His death on the Cross bought for us the chance for eternal salvation.

The fact that God’s mercy is extended up to the very last minute for the greatest sinners (see also this) is a tremendous source of comfort, for it is the greatest expression of His love for us.  All we need is to open our hearts a little and allow Him to work His mercy in our lives.

May I never, EVER, doubt the unfathomable mercy that God has for me and all His children.

Jesus, I trust in You!
