On Being Talked About

Fact of Life: We only talk about people who are interesting, beautiful, funny, exciting, popular, political, controversial, notorious, famous — in other words, there is something about the person that makes him or her worth talking about. Boring people are only mentioned in passing, if at all. So when you hear people talk about you, whether behind your back or directly, and whether the discussion is good or bad, consider it an honor because it means you are SOMEBODY such that they should give you that much attention.

And on that note… Thank you for making me more famous than I deserve to be. 😉

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. – Oscar Wilde
